Richard Asante
President | Founder | Head Coach 2015, 2013

Richard Asante founded the Asante Soccer Academy in 2010. He has a Pre-B Coaching License and is currently a teacher with the Toronto District School Board.
In his career as a soccer player, he represented Team Canada in the 2003 FIFA World Cup, was the Captain of the Syracuse University Men's Soccer Team, and was the first Canadian ever drafted by Toronto FC in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. In 2019, Richard Asante was the recipient of the Urban Hero Award from Breakfast Television, which recognized his efforts to give back to the community that helped to shape him.

Paul Dunkley
Head Coach - 2009

Paul Dunkley is originally from Jamaica and is currently the Head Coach of the Asante Elite 2009 Boys. He has a degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Centennial Collage, where he also played for the varsity team. Paul Dunkley's coaching style is possession-based and his current goal is to improve his team and raise the skill level of his players.
